Quality Engineer
Quality Engineer at Teleste Networks, hybrid in Kaarina; experience with quality or manufacturing is sought.
Would you like to make a difference to quality where it matters most? We are looking for a Quality Engineer to strengthen Teleste Networks’ quality organisation in Littoinen. In this versatile expert role, you will ensure and develop quality throughout the value chain, from suppliers to production, projects and customers. In your work, you will play a key role in resolving deviations, developing processes and promoting Operational Excellence. You will work closely with production, procurement, product development, the project organisation, and international suppliers and customers. We work in a flexible hybrid model combining collaboration at the office with the flexibility of remote work. Working arrangements are determined by the needs of the work, projects and teamwork. Your working day will include, among other things: - Ensuring quality requirements and customer requirements are met. - Handling deviations, complaints and NCR cases, and leading root-cause analyses. - Coordinating corrective and preventive actions and monitoring their effectiveness. - Developing production and quality systems and conducting internal audits. - Coordinating IQC and OQC activities. - Analysing quality metrics and identifying areas for improvement. - Supporting and guiding staff in quality-related practices. - Strengthening a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation. You will succeed in the role if you have: - Suitable technical education, for example in production, quality or mechanical engineering. - Experience in a quality, production, manufacturing or supplier environment. - An understanding of manufacturing processes and quality-management methods. - The ability to analyse data and use it in decision-making. - A solution-oriented and systematic approach to work. - Strong collaboration and communication skills. - Excellent English skills. - An interest in problem-solving, quality development and continuous improvement. We also value: - Experience in the electronics industry or an international operating environment. - Experience in supplier, manufacturing or customer quality roles. - Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF or IRIS / ISO 22163 standards. - Lean Six Sigma expertise. - Knowledge of SPC, MSA, PFMEA or CAPA methods.
