We are a European energy technology company focused on advancing battery energy storage through practical engineering, system-level design and long-term product ownership. Our mission is to develop safer, smarter and more sustainable solutions for modern energy infrastructure. We are building our own technology platform for stationary energy storage, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, lifecycle value and serviceability. We are looking for a Lead BMS & PDU Engineer to take ownership of the Battery Management System and Power Distribution Unit development for our BESS platform. This role combines electronics design, embedded firmware, software interfaces and system integration. The BMS and PDU are central parts of the energy storage system, directly linked to battery safety, protection, diagnostics, data quality, system control and long-term maintainability. What You’ll Do: Take technical ownership of BMS and PDU development for BESS applications; Develop PCB-level electronics for battery management, protection and power distribution; Develop embedded firmware for monitoring, diagnostics, control and safety-related functions; Define and implement software interfaces between BMS/PDU and the wider BESS control system; Work on system integration, testing, validation and production readiness; Collaborate closely with electrical, software, mechanical and system engineering teams; Support productization, supplier coordination and long-term platform development. What We’re Looking For: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Automation or a related field; Experience with PCB design, embedded firmware or industrial electronics development; Understanding of battery systems, BMS, power distribution, protection or measurement systems is highly valuable; Experience with communication interfaces, diagnostics, testing and system integration; Practical, hands-on engineering mindset suited to a growing technology company; Ability to take ownership of a complete technical area from concept to product; Fluent English and Finnish are required. This role focuses on Battery Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and system control, contributing to reliable and intelligent energy storage solutions for the European market.
