AGCO is one of the world’s largest agricultural equipment manufacturers. AGCO Power Oy supplies the group’s engines from four factories in Finland, Brazil, China and Argentina. Our engines are used in tractors, combines, forestry machines, material handling equipment and generators. We manufacture engines in the 60–700 hp range, plus gears, gearbox components and backup generators. We employ over 800 people. CNC Machinist, AGCO Power – Linnavuori Do you want to work at the heart of modern machining and directly see your contribution in world‑class engine production? In this role you will work in modern, clean and well‑lit production facilities with a highly automated process. You will use a machining line featuring a Fastems FMS system, robotics and 12 work centers forming an efficient whole. Your work will focus on manufacturing 4‑ and 6‑cylinder engine blocks. Daily tasks include tool maintenance, fixture adjustment and monitoring of the production process. You will also ensure quality control via measurements and visual inspection at various production stages. You will work in a three‑person shift team with responsibilities distributed across different work steps. During onboarding you will visit several workstations to gain a solid overview of production and the opportunity to become a versatile professional. The employment starts as a fixed-term contract for 6–12 months, with the exact duration confirmed during the recruitment process. Our aim is to find a long‑term candidate, and if the situation allows, the contract may continue after the fixed term. What we are looking for: a training in metal industry or machining and a CNC machining background. A long work history is not required; the most important is basic competence and a genuine desire to learn more. You should understand machining fundamentals, machines and tools, and feel comfortable with measurements and quality inspection. You work proactively and responsibly and are willing to work in a 4‑shift system. Preferred but not required are experience with Fanuc controls, FMS systems or robotics and a basic understanding of G‑code. Programming skills are not required, but interest in technology and a willingness to grow are important for this role.
