We are looking for an experienced licensed practical nurse (health care assistant) for a long-term contract in a specialized home care site in Porvoo. The role offers the opportunity to perform high-quality, customer-oriented nursing in an environment that differs from traditional home care. You will mainly work with the same client for the entire shift, with no constant movement between sites. The aim is to find a long-term, committed employee to join the familiar care team. Work details: start in June 2026, possibly before Midsummer; work continues at least until the end of September 2026, with potential for longer; shifts are mornings and night; full-time hours offered; salary 17.00 €/h plus 9% holiday pay. The assignment is mainly based in Porvoo, with occasional shifts in the Helsinki area; having access to a car is considered an advantage. Clients are older adults receiving care in their own homes under 24/7 support from the on-site care team. The role enables deep understanding of the clients’ situation and individualized care. Care work is performed at one site for the whole shift, making it calmer and more client-centered than traditional home care. At the sites there are suitable break and social facilities for carers. Requirements: practical nurse qualification and Valvira registration; valid medication licenses; prior care experience; excellent Finnish language skills, Swedish is a bonus; independent, responsible and calm work approach; willingness to handle changing situations; ability to use own car at work.
