Education Director

Laurea University of Applied Sciences is recruiting an Education Director for the Rehabilitation outcome area. The unit is multi-disciplinary in social and health care, and the Education Director will oversee the degree programs in physiotherapy and rehabilitation instruction and the language and communications teaching within the Sote unit, including budgeting and operations. The role is to lead pedagogical development, curriculum work, integration of RDI and teaching, and continuous learning and business activities. The Education Director will also be responsible for the growing international education business in the unit. The position requires collaboration with other Education Directors in the Sote unit, as well as RDI and development management. The Education Director will be a member of the unit’s leadership team and of the university’s education, lifelong learning and RDI management groups. Primary workplace is Laurea’s Uusimaa campuses; in addition, employment terms follow the university’s collective agreement; the position is permanent and full-time with a start date of 1 October 2026 or by agreement. Salary ranges from 6000 to 6500 euros per month, depending on the candidate’s competence and experience. The university language policy is Finnish as the primary language, with English also used.
