We are currently seeking three employment specialists for permanent official positions in the adult services team of the Central Uusimaa employment region, starting October 1, 2026, or by agreement. The Central Uusimaa employment region includes Hyvinkää, Järvenpää, Mäntsälä, Nurmijärvi, Pornainen, and Tuusula — with Järvenpää serving as the responsible municipality. This is Finland's seventh-largest employment region, where you will work in an area with a strong and developing economic structure. Your duties as an employment specialist In this role, you will help clients move towards employment and education. Your daily work includes: - job placement for job seekers - assessing service needs and mapping skills - supporting clients in various stages of the job search - guiding clients to services that promote employment - official duties, such as decisions related to unemployment security - cooperation with stakeholders and development of employment region services The position requires the ability to apply legislation related to labor services and unemployment security, as well as a readiness to take holistic responsibility for the client's service process. What we expect from you - Up-to-date experience in employment services and knowledge of the labor market - Experience in guiding and face-to-face customer service - A sales- and market-oriented mindset - A goal-oriented and customer-centric approach to work - Good interaction, negotiation, and cooperation skills - Ability to prioritize and work independently - A solution-oriented attitude - Strong oral and written communication skills - Fluent IT skills and up-to-date job search skills Proficiency in English and Swedish for customer service is considered an advantage. Additionally, the work requires a willingness to travel within the municipalities of the Central Uusimaa region. Eligibility requirements The eligibility requirement for the position is a university degree or an equivalent college-level degree and at least 5 years of relevant work experience. Terms of employment - Permanent official relationship starting October 1, 2026. - Collective agreement KVTES - Working hours are general working hours 38.25 h/week - Level salary is €3,075/month. In addition, work experience supplement according to KVTES may be paid (maximum 8% of the level salary) - Probationary period is six months
