Hitsaaja - metallialan ammattilainen

We are looking for an experienced and motivated welder to strengthen our team. The role requires solid metalworking expertise, careful work habits and the ability to operate as part of a skilled maintenance team. This is a permanent position with a 6-month probation period. The position will primarily be based at KTT Tekniikka Oy, Kotka unit at Sepänkatu 2. Occasionally there may be a need to participate in installation projects at customers' sites as a welder. Core qualifications include an education in metalworking/Sheet metal welding, experience with MIG, TIG, and SMAW processes, proficiency in sheet metal work (thin and thick materials), ability to read drawings and understand materials, handling skills (lifting, turning, etc.), at least 4 years of welding experience, and reasonable IT skills (timekeeping, email). Personal qualities sought include meticulous and conscientious work, initiative and responsibility, good teamwork and ability to work with diverse people, and willingness to develop professional skills and qualifications. Nice to have: EN ISO 5817 C welding qualification class, and previously completed welder certificates and readiness to complete ISO 9606 welding qualifications. Salary: hourly wage between €17–€21 depending on skill and experience.
