Shipyard Welder

At the Turku shipyard, some of the world's largest cruise ships are currently being built – and we need you to help make history. We are looking for a skilled sheet metal welder or a skilled installer with welding skills, eager to take on diverse tasks in a varied and challenging environment. The work is practical and tangible – your results are visible daily on the growing ship. Our team is close-knit and professional, working both independently and together. Typically, work is in day shifts, but project requirements may also involve evenings, overtime, and occasional weekends. The job description is intentionally broad – shipyard work evolves with the project, and new situations will arise. In addition to welding and sheet metal work, you will participate in various installation tasks. Adaptability and professional pride are highly valued. The experience in welding and/or sheet metal work, ability to interpret technical drawings, a proactive attitude and flexibility in changing situations, willingness to work evenings, overtime, and weekends if needed, and familiarity with the Turku region or willingness to relocate are expected from you.
