Fullstack Engineer

Join Hippo's CORE charter (Customer Onboarding, Retention and Engagement) – the team behind our mobile apps (iOS and Android) and Customer Portal, plus the backends that power them. You'll work alongside a group of Mobile engineers who also know their way around backend and frontend, supported by dedicated QA and a Designer. Lots of UI-heavy, user-facing work. You will develop core components like the Customer Portal (web frontend) and the Backend-For-Frontend layer used by Mobile and Portal clients for data exchange. You will collaborate with Mobile engineers, support databases and APIs, deploy using industry-standard tools, troubleshoot production issues, prioritize security, implement automated tests, and work with product teams to turn requirements into high-quality code. Requirements include at least 3 years of experience with React, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript, knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server, good communication skills, responsibility, security awareness, and command of English and Polish. Extra points for GraphQL, AWS, Grafana, Coralogix, mobile experience, and AI tools. The recruitment process involves CV submission, interviews, live coding, and final meetings.
