Assortment and Purchasing Manager

Valio Aimo® is a wholesale business and part of Valio Oy. Valio Aimo® wholesale serves restaurants, hotels, catering and events, bakeries and public sector and industry customers across Finland. The role of Assortment and Purchasing Manager is to independently maintain, develop, procure and negotiate contracts for the defined product groups in the portfolio, and to manage supplier relationships and development. You will work in close cooperation with other Fresh Products team managers as well as strategic partner suppliers and internal stakeholders. In this role you have the chance to directly influence customer satisfaction and business outcomes through assortment, price level and product availability. You will be an important part of a ambitious food enterprise and help build wholesale for professionals who create good food. What we are looking for: an experienced procurement professional with 2–3 years of experience in procuring the relevant product groups; passion and vision for developing assortment management in Food Service wholesale; strong negotiation and interpersonal skills; analytical mindset and numerical competence; flexible, methodical and proactive work attitude; SAP system proficiency; suitable education (e.g. commercial). Fluent Finnish and English (spoken and written).
