Practical Nurse

We are seeking a committed, kind and skilled practical nurse for a fixed-term contract at Attendo Vuolingonhovi in Mikkeli. The home is a cozy care home for the elderly where staff support residents around the clock. As a Lähihoitaja you will assess residents' abilities, identify their care needs, and plan, implement and evaluate residents' functional capacity and care together with the residents. Your contribution helps residents enjoy a good, high-quality everyday life. You will maintain residents' functional capacity with rehabilitative approaches and good basic care, plan and assess health, well-being and participation, and play a major role in medication administration according to given instructions and continuous monitoring and recording of the resident’s condition. The position is a fixed-term maternity leave substitute and starts around late September, with three shifts per day. This is a three-shift job.
