Assembler – join a capable and supportive team! Kone-Tuomi Oy is a Finnish family-owned company founded in 1945, specialized in demanding heavy and medium-heavy machining. The company operates production units in Turku and Kauttua (Eura) and employs about 60 machining professionals. Known for long experience, strong craftsmanship, and modern machine fleet, it serves domestic export industry with CNC machining, turning, boring, milling and maintenance services. We seek an assembler for a long-term, full-time position at the Kauttua workshop. The role offers a very diverse set of tasks including installation, repair and workshop machining. We value skilled metalworkers with careful workmanship and interest in varied responsibilities. Work is full-time day shifts; start date negotiable. Responsibilities include a broad range of workshop installation and repair tasks, particularly work on industrial rollers: disassembly of old rollers, mounting new ones, replacing bearings, and making heat fits. Other machining tasks will appear; precision and craftsmanship are essential, including using precision measuring tools and achieving millimeter precision. What we expect from you: practical metalworking experience and solid grasp of basics. You don't need to be fully seasoned in these specific tasks as Kone-Tuomi will train you on the role's specifics. The most important part is that you handle tools well, can use various measuring devices, and possess a precise, proactive approach. Any technical hobbies or prior experience with cars, motorcycles, or other machines will be an asset in the role.
