About the role

We are seeking a service-minded problem-solver who loves speed, energy, and busy store shelves to join our department store in Halmstad Stenlyckan as a salesperson. The work in a Rusta department store is fast-paced, varied, and quick-moving, yet we have fun together. At the cash register, among the shelves, and in the middle of our campaigns, you will create the customer experience. You greet our customers with a smile and ensure the store is tidy, stocked, and inspiring. One day you help a customer find the right curtain, the next you reorganize an entire department. No day is the same – and we love it. You don’t need to know everything from day one – we will teach you. But we believe you: enjoy talking to people and making their day better; thrive when things move quickly and solve problems with a can-do attitude; can work morning, day, evening, and weekends; spread positive energy and want to grow with us. If you have worked in retail before, that’s great, but the most important is your mindset. How to apply: you can skip a personal letter; if you have a CV, attach it, but the most important is to set aside time for our initial chat interview. What happens after you submit your application: you’ll be directly invited to a chat-based first interview with our chatbot Hubert to speed up and make the process fairer. The interview lasts about 20 minutes. If you proceed, there will be a short service-related test, an on-site interview at the store, and a digital reference check. Start date: 1 October 2026. End date: 31 December 2026. Salary: according to collective agreement.
