Senior Project Engineer - Plant

As a Senior Project Engineer within Plant (Layout & Piping) you will be an important part of our project deliveries in the process industry. You will work with design and construction through all project phases and contribute with technical expertise and experience in developing sustainable and efficient solutions. Your responsibilities may include: developing technical solutions and functions within layout and piping design; selecting components and materials; preparing component and piping lists; drafting specifications for equipment; 3D modelling of facilities; producing manufacturing and installation documents; participating in technical reviews and contributing with specialist knowledge; performing or contributing to pressure analyses of piping systems. Depending on assignment, you may operate as part of the customer’s project organization or together with colleagues in our in-house projects from our Karlstad office. Requirements: A solid background in Plant layout and piping design and the ability to take responsibility for technical solutions in complex project environments. Technical education from university or college, or equivalent experience. Many years of experience in layout and piping design, especially in process industry (e.g., pulp and paper, energy, oil & gas, petrochemicals). Very good command of Swedish and English, both written and spoken. 'B' driving license as travel is required. Desirable: experience with piping system pressure analyses and software such as Aveva E3D, Plant3D, PDMS, AutoCAD, Rohr2, Autopipe. We value collaboration and knowledge sharing.
