About the role

Team Leader Workshop at Scania Nijmegen is seeking an experienced truck mechanic ready to take the next step. The role blends technical expertise with leadership to coach colleagues, improve processes and lead a team on the shop floor. You will be the first point of contact for technicians and ensure maintenance and repair work is performed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include guiding technicians on daily tasks, assisting with complex diagnostics and repairs, monitoring quality, safety and efficiency, identifying process improvements, ensuring safety regulations including around electric vehicles, participating in work meetings and supporting quotes for additional work. We operate modern Scania workshops focused on quality, customer satisfaction and sustainability, with a commitment to innovation, development and a safe, professional working environment. Requirements include at least mbo level, experience in commercial vehicle tech or workshop environments, strong communication, proactive and coaching attitude, experience with automated systems and administration, ability to work independently and to connect a team. Experience in a leadership role is a plus but not required.
