Unit Manager

We are looking for a unit manager for a fixed-term parental leave replacement at Wilhelmiina, a 12-place housing unit for young people and adults with developmental disabilities in Hollola. The position is a fixed-term parental leave replacement starting in November 2026, part-time at 50% and mainly day-time work. Salary will be according to agreement. You will lead your unit, responsible for its operations, personnel, quality and financial viability, with the unit service supervisor as your assistant. Your network includes other unit leaders within Humana’s disability services. You will enable your staff’s success and development with a coaching, inclusive and inspiring leadership style. You will manage administrative tasks, marketing of services and cooperation with welfare regions, working closely with the service director and the leadership team of disability services. Wilhelmiina is a 12-place home-like unit in Hollola for youth and adults with developmental disabilities, where each resident can live according to their own preferences and staff support their autonomy. Our working method is based on a rehabilitation-oriented approach, respecting residents’ existing skills and supporting independence. We are seeking a person to join our team who has a higher education degree in social and/or health care or an equivalent qualification, plus sufficient experience leading a housing unit and supervisory work. Experience in disability services is an advantage.
