Nurse

Are you a reliable and caring adult with understanding of foster care tasks and, above all, a desire to do meaningful and compassionate work in child welfare foster care? We are seeking a nurse for Villa Iiris, a small-group home in Kellokoski, to join our team. You will handle nursing duties including medication management in collaboration with the unit supervisor, while also participating in guiding and upbringing tasks for children and youths. We value professional competence as well as a genuine wish to be part of the children's everyday life and celebrations with a compassionate approach. The role includes three-shift work. Villa Iiris is a seven-bed foster care unit that houses long-term placed school-age children, with special expertise in neuropsychiatric care, mental health, trauma work, and children who have difficulties with schooling. Experience in mentorship (omaohjaajatyö) is a plus. We work closely with families and networks. Although work is planned, we value the ability to adapt to changing situations. Work is performed as a team but also independently when needed, and we appreciate the ability to operate autonomously. Foster care work is rewarding but demanding, and we value the candidate’s understanding of the foster care task.
