Machine Operator

Machine Operators are responsible for operating and managing production equipment to create products in Avery Dennison's manufacturing activities. They follow production and process specifications for setup, efficient operation and maintenance of production rhythms in line with company standards in terms of volumes, speeds and quality. Responsibilities include on-site work at our Cadorago location; loading raw materials into machines, determining and controlling machine operations, making necessary adjustments and unloading finished products; monitoring machine tools and controls to ensure adherence to production specifications; measuring tight tolerances and regularly checking product quality; reporting malfunctions or machine anomalies, performing minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and maintaining operational records; monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical processes or other control procedures, maintaining equipment and product performance logs. Qualifications include prior experience with production machinery and mechanical aptitude; ability to follow SOPs and safety regulations; quality orientation and high attention to detail for process monitoring; problem-solving and resilience in face of technical challenges; collaborative approach and team-work mindset to achieve departmental goals. Additional information includes an initial temporary contract with possible extension.
