Special Educator in Early Childhood Education

We are seeking a Special Educator in early childhood education to work at Håkansböle day care, Västersundom preschool, and Trollebo day care in the City of Vanda. You will be an expert in supporting early childhood education and your work will focus on guiding planning, development and evaluation of children’s support processes for both sites. You will collaborate closely with the day care director, early childhood education teachers and multi-professional teams. You must be able to consult and coach staff and guardians and teach in groups of children. Part-time co-teaching or tutoring is a focus in your work. You will be part of the unit management group and support the unit in developing an inclusive culture. The day care centre Håkansböle consists of two groups at Galoppbrinken 5, 01200 Vanda; Västersundom preschool has one group at Hetbackavägen 3, 01200 Vanda; Trollebo day care has three groups at Vidjegränden 2, 01360 Vanda. In the future there are plans to move to new premises at Hästhagsvägen 17, 01200 Vanda to the day care Silva, starting 2027–2028 with 4 Swedish-speaking groups and 6 Finnish-speaking groups under one roof. The position is full-time with a 6-month probation period and a weekly schedule of 38 h 15 min. Terms follow the municipal teaching staff collective agreement (UKTA).
