Practical Nurse for on-call work at Ikipihlaja Matinkartano

The position is for a practical nurse (lähihoitaja) in a 24/7 assisted living unit caring for elderly residents with mental health and substance use rehabilitation needs in Lieto, Matinkartano. The role is autonomous nursing work with strong support from colleagues. Duties include holistic resident care during morning, evening, or night shifts. The contract is on a gig-on-call basis until the end of the year with possibility to start immediately. We provide comprehensive occupational health services including mental health services, a guardian local insurance, and staff benefits such as employer-supported sports events and access to Forever fitness centers with discounted rates. We work under the Social Welfare Sector Collective Agreement and take into account prior experience and skills. The successful applicant must have a Lähihoitaja qualification, experience in elderly care and/or mental health/substance work or placements, familiarity with Hilkka system is a plus, and must be deemed suitable under the Infectious Diseases Act. A criminal record extract is required before starting the role.
