This role is a part-time Early Childhood Education Assistant at Pilke Daycare Sointu in Kouvola. The job suits someone who wants to use their skills, develop and contribute new ideas to create a positive day for children and colleagues. The work begins as soon as a suitable person is found. Pilke Daycare Sointu is located in Tornionmäki, Kouvola, near the city center. We provide quality early childhood education and pre-school education for 0–6-year-olds in a safe and pleasant environment. We treat each child as an individual—with kindness and respect. We build everyday life where play, learning and well-being go hand in hand. The duties of a Early Childhood Education Assistant include supporting both individual children and the whole group, enabling participation and independence, and collaborating with the rest of the staff to implement activities. We hope for a positive and proactive attitude, good communication skills, and genuine engagement with children. We offer meaningful and safe daily work, a positive work environment, and support for the job. Our method is solution-focused and we encourage trying new things. In Pilke daycare centers, work is shared among adults who interact with children, so everyone has time to focus on their own tasks and perform them as well as possible. The selected candidate must present a police background check as required by law.
