Sipoo is a fast-growing and agile municipality located next to the Helsinki metropolitan area. The Premises unit of the Community and Environment sector is responsible for the municipality's premises rentals, cleanliness, property maintenance, repairs, and construction. There are approximately 100 buildings in total (including schools, daycares, and cultural buildings). A total of 13 people work in premises management. In addition, property maintenance workers, repair professionals, and cleaners work in the field. Our customers are primarily the users of the buildings, entrepreneurs, municipal employees, and decision-makers. We are now seeking A PROPERTY COORDINATOR for a fixed-term position from 31.8.2026 to 31.7.2027 or as agreed. As a Property Coordinator, you will work as a partner to and under the guidance of the customer service manager. You will also receive support in your daily work from the facilities manager, technical manager, supervisors of property maintenance and cleaning, and repair experts. Your main tasks as a Property Coordinator include, among others: - customer service for the unit via telephone and email - investigating and forwarding/ordering matters brought up by customers - mapping and selling furniture and making transfer orders - preparing the use of premises for rent and sale - other assisting tasks in the unit as needed (e.g., acting as a meeting secretary) As is typical for the property sector, every day in our unit is different, so we hope for openness and flexibility regarding work tasks. The job involves daily customer service, with about half being office work and half being field work. We offer the support of our competent work community, flexible working hours (between 7 AM and 5 PM), and the possibility of partial remote work after orientation at separately agreed times. We require a supporting, suitable degree and previous work experience in the property sector; property sector training (e.g., KISI) is considered an advantage. The position requires excellent oral and written proficiency in Finnish or Swedish and satisfactory proficiency in the other national language; other language skills, such as English, are considered an advantage. Additionally, you must have good IT skills and proficiency in basic software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Paint) and be able to fluently produce text for presentations and documents. We expect a good customer service attitude, a practical and solution-oriented approach to work, and good stress tolerance for varying tasks. The job requires the use of your own car. We have modern and new workspaces in Nikkilä, Sipoo. The terms of employment are determined in accordance with the municipal technical staff's official and collective agreement (TS). The position-specific salary is 2690.75 + possible additions. The person selected must present an acceptable health statement, and a probationary period applies to the position.
