The Position Referendariat - Juristische Wahlstation am Standort Penzberg (m/w/d) Dein Team Roche is one of the world's leading biotechnology companies. Our team in the German legal department advises the management of the German Landesgesellschaften and their business units in all legal matters, with the Referendar (m/w/d) being involved in the full range of topics including the review of legal questions, providing legal advice and shaping contracts with customers and cooperating partners. We offer autonomous work with direct client contact. Our team at the Penzberg site consists of 4 Legal Counsel and 4 Paralegals, collaborating with colleagues in Mannheim and Switzerland. Your Referendariat In the frame of your legal clerkship you have the opportunity to get to know the working world of a lawyer in an international corporate group. Your tasks include handling national and international issues from general business law and industrial property, with exposure to further legal areas possible. You will participate in contract negotiations and the drafting of contracts for future cooperations – e.g., with universities or clinics. The drafting of expert opinions on various issues we entrust to you. As part of our creative team you will also actively participate in national and international projects. Your exams have priority, so we support your holistic education and ensure you have enough time for study groups and preparation for the oral exam. For this legal clerkship you bring: excellent legal knowledge demonstrated by passing your first state examination, knowledge of general business law and industrial property, some practical contract drafting experience (also in English), a pragmatic and goal-oriented working style, and fluency in English with no fear of talking to international clients in person, by phone or email.
