We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS) to design, scale and operate the cloud infrastructure behind the Gridle platform. This is a hands-on role focused on scalability, reliability, cost efficiency and security in mission-critical AWS environments. You will design and implement scalable AWS architectures, support high data volumes, enable real-time and batch workloads, optimize autoscaling, manage data storage, design for high availability, implement failover strategies, optimize costs, build secure architectures, and support CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with AWS, designing scalable cloud systems, distributed and data-intensive systems, and cloud security principles. Knowledge of real-time data pipelines, energy or industrial systems, and high-availability environments is a plus. The tech stack includes AWS services, Terraform/CDK, Python, and streaming pipelines. Success is measured by platform scalability, uptime, cost control, and security.
