Early Childhood Education Teacher

Havukallion daycare is located in a natural, forested residential area with good transport connections. Nature is a key part of the learning environment, and we utilize the surrounding area in our activities. The daycare operates five groups. The facilities have been renovated, and you will work in updated group spaces alongside other staff to build effective and inspiring learning environments. We meet each child warmly, aim to build a safe, joyful, and playful everyday life, and emphasize individual attention, recognizing strengths, and offering praise. Play, participation, and curiosity are central; our pedagogy focuses on supporting emotional and interaction skills and language development. The team includes an experienced staff and additional support from a special education teacher and a development teacher. We also use the ProVaka model. You will be part of a professional community that supports each other, and there are opportunities to mentor student teachers. Strong Finnish language skills are required. The role involves a six-month probation period, and a video interview may be used in the recruitment process. The position starts 1 September 2026. Salary follows the Municipal Education Personnel collective agreement (OVTES) with additional allowances for relevant degrees.
