Integration Education Instructor

Kainuun ammattiopisto seeks a fixed-term guidance instructor for integration education for the period 1 Oct 2026 to 30 Sep 2027 or as agreed. The role involves guiding and supporting integration-based education, requiring good familiarity with counseling students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. We value a practical, student-centered approach, ability to meet and accept diversity and cultures, experience in individual and group guidance, and proficiency in multiple languages. A driving license is required for the role. Responsibilities include guiding and supporting students in studies and in training and work experiments; guiding education and career planning with the teacher. In Kainuun ammattiopisto the guidance and teaching work is planned and carried out in collaboration with tutors and teachers, so good teamwork is appreciated. Qualifications: suitable guiding field qualification or other equivalent education. The role may admit underqualified applicants if no qualified applicant is available. The selected must present a criminal background check dated per 504/2002 and, if requested, a drug test certificate. The trial period is six months.
