FORCIT Consulting is the Nordic leader in environmental impact monitoring and measurement for mining and civil engineering works, with operations in Finland, Sweden and Norway. The group is part of FORCIT Group which includes FORCIT Explosives, FORCIT Defence and FORCIT Consulting. The position is based in Helsinki for a permanent contract. The role will focus on mining activities and will seek a person with experience in one or more mining-related areas: open-pit or underground mining technical advisory or design; mining design or project management; supervision and coordination tasks; conducting trainings and examinations related to mining; inspections and vibration measurements; other duties. Desired candidate: experienced mining professional; technical degree (e.g. engineer or DI); valid certificates such as senior charge/overburden or RTV certificate; willingness to travel; excellent Finnish language skills; driving license and own car; basic software skills (Office, Excel) and good IT skills; strong attitude and willingness to learn and develop the field. Nice-to-have: RTV certificate, experience in mining supervision, FISE AA vibration specialist certification or willingness to apply.
