We are seeking a skilled building caretaker for a permanent full-time position in Oulu's Kaukovainio district. As a building caretaker you will work at a school site and be responsible for a range of indoor maintenance and repair tasks, including addressing various fault repairs, ensuring the operation of building automation, and monitoring different maintenance undertakings. You will also work at a computer, maintaining maintenance records and journals. The work is primarily on weekdays from 7:00 to 15:00 (37.5 hours per week). Start date is to be agreed when a suitable candidate is found. We expect you to have a professional qualification in building maintenance and at least 4 years of experience in similar tasks, a driving licence (B) and the possibility to use your own car if needed, valid hot-work, safety and first-aid certificates, a proactive attitude and customer service orientation, fitness for physical work and fluent Finnish. We offer a permanent full-time position, interesting tasks in building maintenance, and a pleasant work community. We follow the Building Services collective agreement; pay is in accordance with the collective agreement, at least pay group 3 (13.22 €/h).
