Power Line Installers for Travel Work

Omexom is VINCI Energies’ brand operating in the energy sector. What would you do with us? As a power line installer, you will work at power line sites around Finland as part of a skilled crew. The work is practical and physically demanding outdoor work, including working on power line poles, tying poles and carrying the materials and supplies needed on site around the work area. Some tasks are performed at heights, typically around 20–35 metres. The work involves travelling to sites around Finland. The work week runs from Monday to Thursday, and working days are generally 7:00–17:30. Work sites typically last around 2–3 months at a time. Hiring points are in Kalajoki and Pori, and future sites may be located anywhere in Finland. You will travel to the sites in the employer’s vehicles. What do we hope for from you? The most important things are a positive attitude to practical work and readiness for physical outdoor work, working at height and regular travel. Electrical training or previous experience in power line installation or electrical work is an advantage, but not essential, as you will be trained for the role. Your background could be in network installation, construction, roofing or earthworks. We value an independent and responsible approach to work. Success in the role also calls for good cooperation skills and the ability to work smoothly as part of a crew. Occupational safety is of primary importance to us, so we expect you to work safely and follow instructions and regulations carefully. The role requires a category B driving licence, sufficient Finnish-language skills to work in a construction site environment, and a valid Occupational Safety Card. Other cards and qualifications required for the role can, if necessary, be completed during employment, arranged by the employer. Why join us? You will have the tools, equipment and training needed for the job, as well as support from the work community, so that you can work safely and develop into a power line professional. The position is permanent and full-time, and the employment contract will be with Biisoni Pohjanmaa Oy. Work can begin earlier by agreement, but we are primarily looking for people for roles starting in early January 2027. Interested?
