Care Assistant

We are looking for casual care workers to join Attendo Oma Itä-Uusimaa’s pool of substitutes serving the Vantaa, Tuusula, Kerava and Sipoo area. This position offers flexible shifts (evenings, mornings and nights), work in varied environments, and the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience as part of a multidisciplinary team. The responsibilities include providing basic social and health care with an active rehabilitative approach to support elderly people, people with disabilities, and individuals in recovery. Requirements include a social and health care vocational degree (lähihoitaja), infection protection as required by law, interest in elderly, disabled and mental health clients, hygiene passport, LOve medication licenses or willingness to obtain them at the start of employment, a criminal record extract, fluent Finnish at least at B2 level, and a Sote professional card. We offer a supportive supervisor, opportunities for development, and flexible scheduling; pay is governed by the private social services collective agreement, with job-specific allowances and a per-hour wage of 18.42–19.37 euros depending on experience from 1.9.2026, plus possible shift premiums.
