We are hiring an Early Years Teacher at Pilke Tahti, a music-focused daycare in Ii. The role involves guiding children gently on their learning path through play, recognizing each child’s unique strengths, and supporting their growth and development. You will manage content of early childhood education plans, plan, assess, and develop the pedagogical activities of the group, and ensure high-quality pedagogy in your unit. You should have a strong pedagogical approach, a positive and proactive attitude, good interaction skills, and the ability to engage with children authentically. Responsibilities include supporting and promoting children’s growth, development, and learning; implementing and developing the group’s pedagogical activities; and contributing to a constructive learning environment. We offer a monthly salary of €2,831.64–€3,086.53 depending on experience, a regional availability allowance of €197.17/month for eligible teachers, a master’s allowance of €153.75/month for a Master of Education with a major in early childhood education, a signing bonus of €1,500, support for training and qualification according to 2030 eligibility requirements, and a positive, agile, gentle work culture that genuinely values early childhood education expertise. The workplace features a wood-clad building with good indoor air quality and flexible, supportive learning environments and tools.
