We operate across several regions in Finland and our headquarters are in Tampere. We are now seeking for our client in Hämeenlinna: VASTUUKOKKI LIIKENNEASEMALLE. Do you like running a kitchen to your own rhythm? Do you want to ensure customers always receive tasty and consistently high-quality meals? If you have a steady hand and can keep the kitchen under control even in busy times, you may be the person we are looking for. As a Head Chef you will lead the daily kitchen operations: you will take care of food preparation, plating and self-monitoring, ensure sufficient supplies of raw materials, and keep the kitchen clean and functional. The work is practical and varied, as you prepare lunch dishes, à la carte meals and motorway service station fast foods, and you collaborate closely with other staff to keep the kitchen running efficiently even at peak times. The role suits a chef who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to make a visible impact with their own expertise. We expect from you: • Industry training or equivalent experience • Hygiene certificate • Own car for commuting (workplace not accessible by public transport) • Finnish language skills • Good stress tolerance and a quick work pace • Ability to organise the kitchen routine and act responsibly. The job is permanent and full-time; after the trial period there is a possibility to be hired directly on the client’s rolls. Salary is based on the Hospitality, Restaurant and Leisure Labour Contract and falls in the range of €15.50 – €17.50 per hour, depending on experience and skill.
