Cleaner

We are seeking cleaners for fixed-term employment at Valio Oy’s Riihimäki factory. The fixed term lasts until 28 February 2027. You will be an important part of our Cleaning Services team, where we work with a cheerful and service-minded attitude. Our team is responsible for cleaning the premises of the Riihimäki dairy (R1) and snack factory (R2): production areas, offices, meeting rooms, break rooms and social facilities. Through our work, we help ensure that the factories’ hygiene remains at a high level and that our personnel have clean and comfortable working spaces. We also pay particular attention to environmental responsibility, food hygiene, ergonomics and occupational safety. We hope applicants have basic training in cleaning and/or substantial work experience in the cleaning sector; flexibility, accuracy and care in high-hygiene food-industry work; the ability to manage changing situations; a positive, service-minded and cooperative attitude; initiative and the ability to work independently; and a desire to develop operations. Fluent spoken and written Finnish, good physical fitness and a hygiene passport are required. An occupational safety card is considered an advantage. The work is organised in shifts, currently on weekdays between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. The work begins as soon as possible. Pay is according to the SEL collective agreement.
