Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a Shift Supervisor for Juustoportti Kärsämäki in a permanent, full-time position to ensure smooth everyday operations at the traffic station and to create successful customer experiences for travelers and local customers together with the team. As a shift supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily operations alongside the cafe-restaurant manager, leading your shift by example and supporting your team in everyday situations to ensure friendly service and high-quality products on every visit. Your multi-faceted role includes ensuring customer satisfaction, guiding staff during the shift, and maintaining product and service quality while performing your own customer service tasks. You will also contribute to the implementation of the Juustoportti concept, availability and display of products, and stock orders, and participate in administrative tasks agreed with your supervisor. The job is a two-shift schedule aligned with the traffic station hours. We are looking for someone with previous supervisory experience or relevant training, a strong background in customer service, good teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to motivate, support and guide your team toward common goals. You should be able to stay organized under pressure, take initiative, and have a solution-oriented approach. The position requires the ability to work in shifts. Previous experience in traffic-station work and English language skills are a plus.
