We are seeking four (4) qualified paramedics for permanent positions within the regional paramedic unit that is part of the social and health care crisis centre. The team collaborates with on-call nurse line 116117 and other crisis centre professionals in a multi-disciplinary setting. The regional unit will primarily operate from Alavudi station, with the possibility of other units as needed. Duties include professional consultations, re-triage of urgent and non-urgent ambulance tasks, and supporting other units in assessment and provision of care. The unit covers the entire South Ostrobothnia wellbeing region and operates 12-hour day shifts. Independent decision-making, organizational skills, teamwork, and development-minded approach are valued. A dispatcher nurse on-call advanced training is a plus. The position requires C1 driving license. Employment terms and salary follow the current SOTE agreement; base salary at start is 3616.52 €/month. Probation applies. A health certificate and criminal background check per law must be presented before start. A drug test may be required. HYVAEP is a nicotine-free workplace. Vaccination against infectious diseases and tuberculosis clearance are required by related health laws. The employer is South Ostrobothnia Wellbeing Region.
