Deckhand

Lead with the concrete role and duties. Tallink Silja AB is looking for deckhands to join onboard on Silja Symphony and Galaxy. The job involves working in the deck department, performing daily maintenance, loading/unloading, mooring, safety rounds, watchkeeping, and following company manuals. You will report to the bosun/steward. The work shifts include day and watch duties; tasks may be divided across several vacancies onboard. Requirements include valid STCW Manila deck endorsement and seagoing experience as a deckhand; you must be responsible, proactive, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and in a team; you should be service-minded, able to handle stress, and able to communicate well in Swedish and English.
