Site Manager for Industrial Natural Gas Projects

We are looking for a site manager and installation supervisor for our industrial projects, with knowledge of natural gas, equipment and piping installations. The permanent role is based at either the Vantaa or Hyvinkää office. Our industrial division employs around 500 specialists across Finland. We provide clients with impactful solutions through comprehensive project deliveries and expert and design services, both in Finland and internationally. Read our blog about project management in industrial projects. What kind of work do we offer? At Rejlers, you will take part in varied and interesting specialist work for several industrial clients. Your duties include site management for various industrial plant projects, as well as preparing constructability and site plans and installation schedules at different stages of projects. At smaller sites, you may also supervise equipment and piping installations. The worksites may also focus on natural gas projects. You will work closely with the project client, contractors, system suppliers and designers. You will mainly work at our clients’ sites around Finland, with a strong focus on Uusimaa. Some tasks are also carried out at the office or remotely. The work starts by agreement. What kind of person are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with customers and values smooth cooperation with different stakeholders. Good interaction skills, a customer-oriented approach and clear communication are essential, as the site manager plays an important role between the different parties in projects. Safety and safe working are also very important to us, and we hope they are reflected in your approach. To succeed in the role, you will also need care, a systematic approach and the ability to move things forward independently. We value initiative and the ability to manage the overall picture, as well as precision when details matter. We expect you to have: An unwavering commitment to occupational safety and quality Suitable technical education, for example an engineering or Master of Science degree in mechanical or process engineering Work experience in site manager or site supervisor roles at industrial sites or in natural gas projects At least basic knowledge of natural gas projects Strong understanding of equipment and piping installations Basic understanding of construction, electrical and instrumentation work Understanding of PED requirements Good spoken and written Finnish and English Readiness to travel and access to your own car IT skills and reporting ability The following are considered an advantage: Strong experience in natural gas projects Experience in industrial projects and environments EPCM or EPC experience Supervisory experience What do we offer?
