Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a substitute caregiver for disability services in a temporary position until 29 November 2026. In this role you will support clients’ daily living and well-being in diverse operating environments. The Substitute Staffing Unit assists care and welfare units of the wellbeing area by covering short and sudden absences. As a substitute staff member you work flexibly across units, with duties determined by operations. The primary areas are the Jyväskylä region’s disability services units and, if necessary, work in elderly sheltered housing facilities. Shifts are planned in advance, and units assign staff according to needs. Each substitute is assigned the regions and units after orientation, which is tailored to your competence and needs. Orientation is a central part of onboarding. The job is two-shift and scheduled in a rotation pattern. The work is varied with new situations daily and offers excellent opportunities to develop skills across units. We value flexible work, independence, and ability to adapt to changing situations. The job’s pay is 2808.33 €/month plus 119.78 €/month on-call allowance. In addition, 3% for 5 years and 8% for 10 years of work experience allowances are paid.
