About the role

We are seeking a monitoring coordinator to implement self-inspection and monitoring within the welfare area. The role involves planning, reporting and guiding services, and collaborating with authorities and expert networks. The position is a fixed-term contract from 1 October 2026 to 31 May 2027, with hybrid work requiring at least two days per week at the Otaniemi office. A driving license is required and a willingness to drive; own car is not necessary. Responsibilities include planning, implementing and reporting monitoring events in internal and contracted services, advising service providers on self-inspection matters, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as well as supervisory authorities. Strong knowledge in social and health care self-inspection/quality management is valued along with experience in systematic monitoring. The role aims to impact service quality and patient/customer safety across the welfare region. Qualifications include a suitable university degree in social or health care, fluent Finnish (written and spoken) and satisfactory Swedish skills. Hybrid work and a six-month probation apply. The annual wage is 3,485.68 EUR gross per month as per the wage principle.
