Clinical Teacher

Clinical teaching position at HUS Abdominal Center. The Clinical Teacher is responsible for high‑quality supervision and smooth internship processes for students (AMK, university, secondary and international students) and for developing a safe and equitable learning environment. Close collaboration with clinical experts, unit supervisors and lead nurses, and involvement in evidence-based nursing and research tasks. The role includes coordinating internship supervision, ensuring clinical learning environments meet quality standards, and supporting teaching competencies and onboarding. Employment involves teaching, mentorship, and consultation in special situations relating to education and guidance. The position also entails utilizing pedagogical methods, digital teaching technology, and applying Magnet hospital model guidelines within HUS nursing practice. The package includes training, orientation, and various employment benefits across HUS, such as ePass balance for exercise, massage, culture, and travel; housing facilities and discounts. The starting date targeted 14.9.2026 or by agreement. Salary 4617.72 €/month; trial period per SOTE contract. Finnish language and Swedish language proficiency required; clearances for health and safety and vaccination status apply.
