Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a practical and solution-oriented maintenance technician to strengthen Sarlin’s service team in the Oulu region. In this role you will perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks for industrial client projects. Your daily work will focus on maintaining pneumatic equipment, carrying out broader revisions, fault finding, commissioning, inspections and ensuring safe operation of equipment. You may also perform preventive maintenance, repairs and installations for gas and power equipment with training provided by the employer. During maintenance you will communicate with the customer and with your support team, ensure safety at work and report completion of work in our system. Working days consist mainly of pre-arranged maintenance, but occasional rapid-response situations may arise – flexibility and problem-solving on-site are valued. The job is mobile and you will travel by company car to customer sites in your area, with occasional overnight travels. We expect you to have experience in technical/mechanical/electrical maintenance, preferably in industry or automotive. A basic qualification in electrical and automation is required; a S3 qualification and pneumatics knowledge are advantageous. We value initiative, customer service attitude and a desire to solve problems. A few years of experience in similar roles is sufficient – we provide thorough orientation and support to develop your skills.
