The role is for a proactive and open-minded assistant department head in pre-analytical work within the laboratory at HUS Diagnostics Center, Jorvi Hospital. The holder will lead daily operations in collaboration with the department head and another assistant department head, conduct staff orientation and skills validation, and contribute to development of pre-analytical processes. The position includes clinical work in unit and outpatient sample collection, and involves patient- and customer-focused development, close internal and external collaboration with partners, and responsibility for unit budgeting and shift planning. We expect strong pre-analytical expertise, laboratory nursing or biomedical analyst qualifications, excellent communication skills, self-direction, and solution-oriented attitude.
