We have two fixed-term early childhood education childcare worker positions open from 1.9.2026 to 30.5.2027. Early Childhood Education Childcare Worker – join a warm-hearted work community at Idänpää Day Care or Solvikki Day Care. We are looking for two early childhood education childcare workers for groups of children aged 1-5. You will work as part of a professional, warm-hearted team together with an early childhood education teacher and another childcare worker. We create an atmosphere where every child can grow at their own pace and shine as themselves. Idänpää Day Care is located with good transport links in the immediate vicinity of the city center. We are surrounded by great hiking terrains, which our children's groups utilize actively. Solvikki Day Care operates in newly completed facilities in the middle of nature. The selected person must also present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act (504/2002) to verify the criminal background of those working with children. A tuberculosis clearance for those working with children under school age (Communicable Diseases Act Section 55) is checked during the application phase (at the interview). The tuberculosis questionnaire and interpretation guidelines prepared by the Finnish Occupational Health Care (Työterveyslaitos) are used. You can find the forms on the Työterveyslaitos website under Tuberculosis-related health checks. Probationary period: A 4.5-month probationary period applies to the position.
