
Workshop Team Leader
For Scania Roosendaal, we are looking for a Workshop Team Leader. Are you an experienced truck mechanic ready for the next step? As a Workshop Team Leader at Scania Roosendaal, you combine technology and leadership. You are the first point of contact for mechanics in the workshop and ensure that maintenance and repair work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to the highest quality standards. You are visibly present on the shop floor, support mechanics with technical issues, and help them in their development. What will you do? You lead a team of mechanics daily within our modern Scania workshop. You monitor the planning and progress of the work and ensure that the cooperation between the workshop and reception runs smoothly. Additionally: - guide and coach mechanics in their daily work; - support complex technical diagnoses and repairs; - monitor quality, safety, and efficiency in the workshop; - identify points for improvement in processes and discuss them with the team; - ensure work is done according to safety regulations, including those for electric vehicles; - participate in work meetings and support quotes for extra work. Your talents: You are a technically strong professional with natural leadership. You enjoy guiding colleagues, sharing knowledge, and achieving results together. Additionally, you have: - at least MBO work and thinking level; - experience in commercial vehicle technology or truck/workshop environment; - strong communication skills; - a proactive and coaching attitude; - experience with automated systems and administration; - the ability to work independently and connect a team. Experience in a leadership role is a plus, but not a requirement.
