A physician position at Ulvila health center as part of the Satatiimi model. Collaboration between nurses, doctors and other professionals is close; doctors may consult with a physician with low threshold to support smooth everyday work and timely patient matters. The aim of the care continuity model is to strengthen the long-term patient-professional relationship and improve work manageability. Work includes reception duties and common tasks for the health center. There is no on-call duty. Depending on interest and competence, duties can also be directed to maternity- and child health or school health services sectors. The Ulvila population is about 12,300. The workplace is in Ulvila, a short distance from the center of Pori, with good transport connections. There are eight doctor vacancies at the health center. We offer supervision and mentoring, and onboarding. The opportunity to perform YEK service and to pursue further specialization in general medicine. You also have access to internal training and support to develop professional skills. Working time arrangements accommodate different life situations; part-time work and remote work can be agreed separately. Salary is determined according to the physician agreement. The pay uses a pay grade system and performance-based pay. We also offer sports, culture and wellness benefits. We require a licensed physician in Finland and good Finnish language skills. We expect interest in primary health care reception work and value collaboration, initiative and desire to develop operations with other staff.
