Grinder

We are seeking a grinder for finishing aluminum castings in a versatile production role in Espoo. Your work will include grinding cast aluminum pieces, removing gating channels, bead blasting, tumble grinding, drilling and threading. You will also oversee quality control of cast pieces and packaging finished products on pallets and counting quantities. In the job you will operate wedge angle grinders, belt grinders, eccentric grinders, a band saw, a hole saw and a pillar drill. The work is mainly standing, and the weight of the pieces you handle ranges from a few tens of grams to tens of kilos; heavier pieces are rare. To succeed in the role, you need good physical condition and willingness for manual work. Previous experience with machines or metalworking is an advantage. We will train you for the task, so the most important thing is a cheerful and meticulous work attitude and a desire to learn new things. Working hours are weekdays 7:00–15:00.
