Fiber Optic Welder

We are seeking a skilled fiber optic welder for a permanent position in Jyväskylä. The role is initially filled through Rekrymestan via a Try & Hire model with the goal of permanent employment with the client. The work comprises fiber optic welding, CAT cabling, modification and repair of fiber networks, fault finding and repair, measurements and testing, equipment installation, and other fiber-related installation tasks. You will work independently on welding and modification tasks. We expect about five years of relevant experience, practical experience with fiber welding, strong Finnish language skills, a valid occupational safety card, first aid training, a driving licence (B), and good references. Workdays typically start from home to the site; depending on the task, you may use your own car or the company car. Salary and benefits: approximately 2,700–3,300 EUR per month, plus lunch benefit and access to the company gym. This is a long-term opening with the aim of eventual direct placement with the client.
