Electrician

You will install and maintain electrical systems on drill carriages, initially assisted by more experienced technicians who guide you through different steps in machine production. You participate in the manufacture of the drill carriage from start to final testing and will see your work in practice as a functioning soil exploration machine. Practically, electrical installation involves low-voltage wiring and control of hydraulic devices in heavy machinery. Most wiring occurs at the machine, but the task also includes preparatory work such as pre-assembling electrical boxes and centers in a separate electrical workshop. With experience you will also take part in the installation and testing of machine logging systems and in the design and implementation of machine control systems. We expect either electrical trade education (from power or automotive electrical) or work experience in the electrical field, or strong hobby experience with low-voltage installations. We hope you are a proactive, independent electrical installer. Not everything needs to be mastered immediately, but with a good attitude you go far.
