Sales Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic part-time Sales Assistant for the Synsam Kajaani optical store located in central Kajaani. You will join a cheerful, customer-oriented and professional team. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, learning more about optical products, listening to customers’ needs, and ensuring their vision is supported in collaboration with opticians and other sales staff. You will work with a high standard of quality and bring a positive, energetic attitude to the team. Fluency in Finnish is required; Swedish or other language skills are a plus. Prior experience in customer service or sales is preferred, though not required — we will train you if needed. The position is on-call as needed, with approximately 0–37.5 hours per week depending on the agreement and current demand, starting from contract. The role suits a student or someone seeking part-time work who can cover store hours. There may be opportunities for more shifts during peak seasons if performance is strong.
