Project Engineer

Location: Finland, flexible. Start date: As soon as possible. Extent: Full time, 6–month fixed-term employment with Academic Work. Type of work: Staffing. Other: Possibility to work remote. About the role: This hands-on project role coordinates activities, follows up on purchases and deliveries, communicates with customers and suppliers, and ensures progress according to schedule. Six-month assignment. You will work with an international project organization and support a Project Manager responsible for several customer projects. Portuguese-speaking markets in South America are a key focus. Responsibilities include: coordinating international customer and delivery projects, communicating with Portuguese-speaking customers, following project schedules, creating and following purchase orders, working with SAP, coordinating suppliers, supporting procurement of services, and travel to South America. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering; professional fluency in Portuguese; professional English; experience coordinating projects and managing procurement processes; SAP experience; valid driving license; willingness to travel to South America; ability to understand technical equipment. Nice-to-have: experience in marine/shipbuilding, engine tech, industrial machinery, maintenance projects, procurement, automation. Salary: 3500–4500 €/month.
